It'd be pretty weird and/or cool if we all had a soundtrack to go along with us throughout our daily routines, due to some unfortunate circumstances, a theme was recently chosen for me that I would rather not have had.  This is my tale...

You see, the new Rocky Balboa DVD has been playing on loop at my work for about a week, and the theme song has subliminally embedded itself in my mind.  I'm not talking about Eye of the Tiger, oh no, I'm not that lucky.  I'm talking about the actual "theme" to the movie, "Gonna Fly Now".  You know, that inspirational sounding symphonic jargon that plays throughout the movie whenever something cool or inspiring happens, and the trumpets sound and you hear the high-pitched woman's voice carry on with,
"Getting Strong now... won't be long now... Gonna fly now... flying high now... Gonna ... FLY!!!!!!   ....  FLY!!!!!"

Yeah, that one.  Only, the inspiring music usually pops in my head when I am doing something very mundane and uninspiring, like, oh, say, taking a shit.

I was literally sitting on the toilette today when I started humming the tune, and then thinking to myself,
"Gonna poop now!  Feels so good now!...  POOOOOOOOP!  ... POOOOOP!!!"

Like, there was a violin and everything.  It was a 50-piece orchestra for my shitting, and it was amazing.  I felt totally ready to poop.  I was pumped up.  It was exciting.  It was awe-inspiring.  It was... really fucking weird.  Afterwards I was left with an awkward feeling that only singing an inspiring tune while pooping could leave you with.  I must say, it was a unique experience.
