Daddy, do you like me now?
That I’m as fucked up as you were
Can you find happiness and solitude in your actions?
Because all I’ve found is loneliness and despair.
Nothing there but emptiness and broken promises
Fueled by the anger, and the hatred inside of me
I remember what you said, how you swore, and cursed
Remember? Hitting mother, and throwing away your dignity?
Starving the hunger that I quenched for a father figure,


Living your life in a downward spiral, pulling us in along with you
Never promised this did you?
Never fucking understood the consequences
The ones that stemmed from hate, evil, and anger
Way too fast locked inside my life,
Wanting to find a way out, but too scared to find the door.

Break me and I will tear at the seams.
Looking away, and opening my eyes to the pain
That crushed the worthless soul inside of me
And tempting the devils in my mind
Reborn from the norm

See me twitch and squirm under the pressure
Of dying just one more time.





Ode to the Fallen

You wanted all the greatest Minds,
to be Your salvation.

But did You know that in their minds
creation would lead to destruction?

Poisons the mind, and destroys the soul,
a threat beyond death: Ambition.

Desire is keen to be top of the game;
a race to save Your people.

But did You know that in their minds,
was the destruction of a civilization?

You paid the price in blood and bone,
thousands gone, all with families

But among the dead, and wounded there,
You can find a sole survivor:

Surrounded by ruin, death, and destruction,
You'll find Your tattered soul.

Hands painted red with the deadly fingertips of War
reaching further into the abyss, never ending.

But did You know that in their minds,
they found their absolution?

Guided by deceit, hidden from the truth,
Justified by reason: Politicians and their Lies.

We seek light in the dampened dark.
Extinguished by the whiteness from Capitol Hill

But did You know that in their minds,
there was nothing but hate, and darkness

You wanted all the greatest minds,
so why are You desecrating upon the graves of the fallen?
