Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

Intrigued?  You should really watch this great video with more information on Epicurus and some great philosophy from TJ / The Amazing Atheist:

Whence Cometh Evil? Small | Large

If God is capable of preventing evil but but not willing, that doesn't make him malevolent, just apathetic.

Didn't watch the video or anything, just saying.

Whether god is apathetic or malevolent, either way that makes him a douche bag.

He either zaps you and yells "Take that you little bastard! Squeal like a piggy for me!", or he says "Meh, shit happens.  Whats that, your village is starving to death?  Well, uh...that sucks."

I never argue whether or not god exists.  A god, gods, or some form of higher being could exist.  Until science proves otherwise, anyone who claims a god cannot possibly exist is just like a religious person claiming there is no way there isn't a god.

I say, if there is a god, he is no god of mine.
