man i wanna learn to play the drums, but its hard now that i don't have a lot of time. i wish i would have gotten into it when i was younger

You could always settle for donkey konga or rock band drums.  Pretty much the same thing*.

Man that new LoG album is AWWEESSOOOMMMEEEEE!!!!   I've never been much on Pantera though.

Yeah I totally dig it, even though I really like how much heavier Ashes of the Wake and Sacrament were.  The new album has a lot more musicality to it, it's very artistic, and still heavy.  The only bummer is that the bass is completely WEAK.  I hear almost nothing from the bass, just guitars, drums and vocals.

i made a comment here making fun of dimebag being dead. it was in poor taste, even for me. give it another year and i'll be good to go lol.
damn you zakk wylde and your wicked awesome live version of "in this river". i'll make fun of people that died tragically! You cant stop me mr. my songs are 99% pinch harmonics.

Oh man, you're going to hell for that.  That's like when you make fun of retards in a grocery store, turn around, see a retard,  and see his parents glaring at you for being a dick.  Smiley

C'mon dude, you gonna make fun of Randy Rhoads's death and the death of Metallica's original bassist too?  Haha Tongue

lol making fun of dead people is at the bottom of the list of things i am going to hell for lol. i deleted my dimebag post, which i already regret lol. Anyways, i won't say anything about rhoads and burton because i can't think of anything witty that relates to plane crashes (with pilots high on cocaine) and or bus crashes. maybe something about rhoads face being splattered on the runway road? or maybe something to do with cliff and him going flying out the window and doing the cartooon thing where they float in the air and try to run...except he gets crushed by a bus. HAHAHAHA

Yeah-- I like the new LoG album because it has more substance than the others.  I agree it's artsy and still heavy, and I think it's the best written and has the least amount of "chuggah chuggah growl growl repeat" in it.

As the Palaces Burn, which is an amazing album through and through, is their only other really good album, with Ashes of the Wake and Sacrament having only a few good tracks and being overall fairly disappointing due to a lack of depth, originality, and emotion.

I could see how you feel that way.  I dig it for how angry they are, to me at least.  Everyone has their own tastes.  A lot of people don't like Wrath very much (why the fuck not?), so meh.
