The Ballad of Will and Kolby

The sun did rise upon a wooden house,
Deep within the forest
And with the rays of the rising sun,
Kolby Bear did wake to nourish

Upon his rising, the covers did stir,
And blankets fell all around him,
He stretched his arms, and growled out loud
The day for Kolby Bear did just begin

Sought honey pot after honey pot
But never did he satiate
The hunger that beckoned him
So he sought a friend to fellatiate

Striding out the door,
Leaving naught but a candle burning,
The Kolby Bear journeyed to find
What it was that his stomach was yearning

He journeyed to the edge
Of the forest ledge
Which is where he saw a cabin
One where he knew,
Resided the few
The one, the only, Will Rabbit

A knock on the door,
And a Growl in store
From the stomach of Kolby Bear
Will Rabbit let him in, because he was his friend,
And Kolby bear let out a smile

With the closing door
I will write no more
Of the deeds that occurred there
For with a step and swallow
The Kolby Bear went
Where this pen would not follow

Time had passed
And finally at last
The pen gazed in the window
It was thick with steam
And covered in gleams
From next morning’s rising sun

Peaceful were they,
Bear and Rabbit did lay
Quietly through the morning
But the peace was disturbed
By a noise that perturbed
The Bear and Rabbits quiet slumber

Over the ridge, near Kolby Bear’s Home
The trees were moved and thrown
Birds flung from roosts
As if with a sudden boost
And Dust filled the forest around them

Kolby Bear and Will Rabbit looked from the window
To see the commotion that did show
Itself into the forest
And fear instilled both
As the end was wrote
For the home that Kolby Bear had loved

And as the trees did part
Kolby Bear felt the stop of his heart
As a soft tear ran from his cheek
Only a second to cry,
As the view of the source filled both with fright
And they gazed upon the monster

It had a smell of garlic, rotten
Like a dead animal that was brought in
And the sight of its face was no prettier
A large yellow melon
Squashed from within
And oozing yellow puss all around it

The teeth did reek
Of a smell not so meek
And the stench filled the forest
And caught in its mouth,
Were bones all about
Mostly of those that could not outrun him

It was its name,
For it had no fame,
But to those that were left in its wake
To those it was known,
By a name all its own
He was the Kevin Monster

Miles he did fly,
As he did stride
Across the ridge and forest
A warning was heard
From a fluttering Seth bird
“Run quickly, rightly, away!”

The bird was beaten,
And swiftly eaten,
With one gulp he was swallowed away
From the window view,
Bear and Rabbit too
Knew this would be their last day

As a tear did fall
From furry cheek to Rabbits paw
Bear and Rabbit knew what was for them
And Kevin monster came
In a flash quick as flame
And descended upon Will Rabbit’s house

As the monster did stir
Kolby Bear could not deter
And Will Rabbit went to meet it
A non-welcome greet
At the great monsters feet
To defend his only home

In a swift kick and a thump
The poor rabbit did slump
And fly off into the grass
Kolby Bear yelled
And growled to the hells
At the sight of his fallen friend

A great growl surged
As Kolby Bear emerged
And went to face Kevin Monster
Sharp claws raised,
Teeth barred and brazed,
Kolby Bear charged the monster

Kevin Monster saw
The great bear raise his paw
And charge into his legs
Fierce swipes exchanged
As the monster, deranged
Fended off the mighty Bear

Into the night,
They continued to fight
As time passed around them
Dust did stir
And Kolby Bears power did surge
Both might and fright battling to the end

Kolby’s swipe struck
And the monster could not duck
Striking him to the ground
The monster now knew, what was true:
A fallen friend had quickened his end
And sealed his fate with the great Kolby Bear

As the morning sun rose
The calls of the crows
Startled the dreary monster and bear

Finally, with a strength not his own
Gathered from when the rabbit was pwned
Kolby Bear issued the final strike to the monster

The monster’s final attack
Fell short and off-track
And could not turn the tides of the battle

No smile did show
From defeating his foe
Kolby Bear simply looked grieving
For though he had won
As the fading rays of sun
His life would soon too, be leaving

Laying still on the ground,
Emitting not a sound
The monster had finally seen his end
As the sun did fall, and turn into night
Kolby Bear crawled with all his might
To lay beside his fallen friend

Many tears were shed
As Kolby Bear had dread
Will Rabbit, his friend, was dead
As Kolby Bear Heaved
And as his strength did leave
He felt his body rise above him

Gallant and brave
Kolby Bear tried to save
His friend, His Rabbit, His Companion
And throughout the fight
With the surge of his might
Kolby Bear’s life began to leave him

Broken and battered
But to Kolby, no matter
Because soon he would be with his friend

Their cold bodies did lay
Where it was destined their graves
And forever the rising sun would pass over them

Though their bodies did lie
And decay with time
Their spirits were forever together
Will Rabbit did meet
As Kolby Bear did greet
In a life, soon after their own
