Paradigm

Falling in disbelief.
I'm not falling, I'm floating.
Floating on the air,
simply in a different place each second that I am floating.
The air flies past me
and bends around my body.
I finally find happiness,
and I smile.
But as i approach the seemingly infinite darkness,
my happiness fades, as the sun into the night,
and I once again realize I am falling.
I am frightened.
My arms flail and reach to stop me from falling,
but the ground continues to approach and I cannot stop.
I know the end is near,
but it does not comfort me to know this.
I understand now: I am falling, not floating.
Like a great shift in logic,
a Paradigm,
I understand everything has changed,
and I know, that I,
am now changed.

Sorry   I read it.  It was pretty decent, but I don't really like it as much as your other work.  Mostly because it seems similarly themed but less well done.  Paradigm is a sweet word though
