All of the following are things he did as a Senator:
-He sponsored the “Higher Education through Pell Grant Expansion Act”.
-He co-sponsored the “Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act”.
-He amended the “Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act”.
-He introduced the “Lugar-Obama” initiative expanding a previous initiative to reduce the threat of conventional weapons.
-He was the primary sponsor of the “Democratic Republic of the Congo Relief, Security, and Democracy Promotion Act,” which was signed into law December 22, 2006.
-The “Coburn-Obama Transparency Act” would create a web site listing all organizations receiving federal funding from 2007 onward. It would provide a breakdown of which agencies gave out funds, what organizations received funds, and what the funds were used for.
-He co-sponsored a bill on climate change with John McCain to reduce greenhouse gases by 2/3 by 2050.
-He also held assignments on the Senate Committees for Foreign Relations, Environment, Public Works and Veterans' Affairs through December 2006.
-In January 2007, he left the Environment and Public Works committee and took additional assignments with Health, Education, Labor and Pensions and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
-He also became Chairman of the Senate's subcommittee on European Affairs. As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Obama has made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.

Why do people keep posting statements like this without any basis on fact? Have you just heard somebody else say that and assumed it was true?
I'm not saying you have to vote for the guy (eventhough you should). Just don't fucking lie for no reason to try and make a point. Get some FACTS. FACTS. BASE YOUR OPINION ON FACTS!
What has Obama done? Ever. His responsibility as a Senator was nill. I'm not saying Palin gained a lot of political experience as an Alaskan govenor, but any experience is more than the absolute lack of that Obama has.
Again...where did you hear this that made you believe it was true? How closely do you follow the actions of senate committees and sub-committees to be able to make a statement like this? You watch a lot of C-SPAN do ya Gam?
HOW MANY TIMES AM I GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE POSTS LIKE THIS? I would love to read some actual intelligent debate on this forums but it is not going to happen. It is amazing how many people are so blinded by their beliefs that they don't realize when they aren't hearing facts they are just hearing opinions that support their own and confuse them as facts.
