The Ballad of the Wiggly Clan, Part I Link >>>>  http://www.metalmusicman.com/forum/index.php/topic,1083.0.html

The next in line, raised far away
Under the desert sun, and so I’ll say:

Mouse Wiggly Small, was smallest of all
But large was his part in the story

Though his stature was meek,
and his height not so tall
He could blend in with the richest of all

A slight of the hand, and a swipe off some dame
Ensured his dinner and a nap under East Dreshin Lane
For there he resided,
under a tree that provided
His home, his house, and his shade

A collector I guess, but nevertheless
What he did was steal anyway
A thief you may wonder, but he never pondered
Of who he was each day

“Thieves they steal, from the carts of the real
Fruit, bread, and coin suffice them.
I seek the best, things over the rest,
I seek a gem that appeals."

A quick change of hand, and a jewel on a stand
Soon finds itself a new owner.
The gem I don’t keep, for treasures not what I seek,
But the fame and renown around them.”

Mouse Wiggly Small, valued himself overall
And to what people thought of him
Took pride in his ‘art’, but could never part
From the fame that was around him.

As time passed, he evaded the mass
Of people wanting to catch him
Never a clue, or print off his shoe
Did he leave for authority to find him.

He found the fame, and glory he sought
In a life of taking from others
Got to the top, and thought he’d stop
Until he heard of the Diamond.

It came to the town, where folks gathered round
Just to see their reflection.
In a diamond the size, and twice the prize
Of Wiggly Small’s entire collection.

Content with his shade
Under East Dreshin Lane
Mouse Wiggly Small ignored the temple

For that was the home,
To a treasure not his own
That was the home of the Diamond.

But as time elapsed, he heard a rasp
Of a deep voice in the tavern beside him.
“Mouse Wiggly Small, was the best thief of all
But now we’ve forgotten him.
Guards must have caught, or surely we’d spot em’
Grabbing the Diamond today. ”

But what Mouse did not know, was that when soldiers go
To a tavern, trouble surrounds them.
Quick as he could, as they knew he would,
He gathered a plan for the Diamond

Steal it he would, so he could
Not be forgotten and stay famous
So one night, when the moon did not light
He snuck into the temple

When he approached
the pillar, he spoke
So quiet no one could hear him.
“I’m Mouse Wiggly Small,
I’m better than all,
At taking what is not mine.
The gem will pass, to some elegant lass
But my fame will live on beyond time.”

As he smiled and grabbed,
A spear did stab,
Just into the back of him
He heard a deep rasp, his arms collapsed
And the Diamond fell from them.

“Mouse Wiggly Small,
Best thief of all,
Before we could not catch you”
Evade somehow, but not right now
Now we have caught you

A scheming plan, to trick a man
Who feared people forgetting his name.
Greed did succumb, to this Wiggly dumb
In an attempt to steal the Diamond
When his hands were caught, no others they sought
So hung him from East Dreshin Lane

As the story unfolds, the tale has been told
Of three brothers all the same
One Wiggly remains, and is he the same
Or will he break the curse that surrounds him?

...to be continued

I love the wiggly clan!  This one was fun, though I had a hard time figuring out what the rhythm was supposed to be, I like the story.  You having this over-exaggerated sense of morals and putting it to story, I'm picturing you as some old wizard or something, lol.
