HOLY FREAKING CRAP, IT'S RED ALERT 3!!!!!!  Red Alert 2 is my favorite RTS of all time (buzz off, StarCrap!) and EA is working on the third installment of the series!  After SEVEN years of waiting, it's FINALLY going to exist!  I cannot wait for this game, I am so positively stoked, I have been waiting for this for so long and now I know it's REAL!  Yeee-freaking-haw!!!!!

Electronic Arts (EA) has noted that after seven years of silence they will get back in the Red Alert series.

The Red Alert series started back in 1996 and since then it had two sequels - Red Alert 2 and Red Alert: Yuri's Revenge. The last one was released in October 2001 and now after 7 years of waiting, EALA (EA Los Angeles) announced that the game is already under development and there will be a closed beta testing in the nearest future. To get in the Beta testing you have to purchase a copy of Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath or the Command & Conquer 3 Limited Collection.

The release date hasn’t been announced yet, but it is known that the game will have three factions - the old Allies and Soviet Union and a new one called the Empire of the Rising Sun.

my only worry is that with westwood dissolved, EA hasnt been doing the command and conquer franchise the best it should. Command and Conquer 3 was better than generals (don get me wrong i liked generals, but it was a totally different feel.)
i only hope they dont mess it up.

It wouldn't be CNC without bad acting in cut scenes!

it kills me. is it so hard to direct the people to act?!  it removes you from the story element so much.

Haha, well, I thought Red Alert's cut scenes were good.  CNC has always had the uber terrible ones.  Red Alert 1 and 2 were always good imo.

I always didn't like Red Alert 2 because apparently, you can't just make 20 Chrono Legionnaires and win instantly.

Other than that is was really sweets though.
